Now Hiring: Seasonal Maintenance Workers - City of Florence

The City of Florence is seeking reliable, hard-working seasonal maintenance employees to support the Parks, Streets, and Public Works departments. Positions typically last 3 to 6 months.

Requirements

Six months of grounds maintenance experience is highly desirable.
Experience using lawnmowers, weed eaters, and common power tools preferred.
Basic knowledge of building and grounds maintenance is helpful.
Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check, drug screen, and DMV check.
Good attendance and the ability to work well as part of a team are essential.

Job Duties

Clean and maintain public facilities.
Perform landscaping and grounds maintenance duties.
Maintain City properties, parks, streets, and public areas.
Complete other duties as assigned.

Schedule and Pay

Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 or 4:00 p.m. Occasional Saturdays may be required as needed.

Rate of Pay: $18.43 per hour
